<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method which can contribute to the equalization of a manner of the expansion and contraction of the whole recording medium finished in recording. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A controller of a recording apparatus calculates a jetting amount of a clear ink used at the time of uniformly jetting the clear ink to the whole recordable region of recording paper as a predetermined amount Q_all (step S11). Subsequently, the controller calculates a use amount Q_color of a color ink necessary for recording an image to a recording region of the recording paper (step S12), and also calculates as a jetting amount Q_clear of the clear ink (step S13). The controller controls each recording head to jet the color ink to the recording region of the recording paper and also to jet the clear ink to the recordable region (steps S17 and S18).
