<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate with an optical compensation film which is prevented from expanding or contracting at quick changes in temperature (for example, a heat shock phenomenon), and as a result, satisfactory optical characteristics can be maintained. <P>SOLUTION: A polarizing plate 100 with an optical compensation film has an adhesive layer 10, an optical compensation film 20, and a polarizer 30 in this order wherein a holding force of the adhesive layer 10 at 60°C is ≤300 μm and the Martens hardness of the optical compensation film 20 on the side of the adhesive layer 10 is 120N/mm<SP>2</SP>to 500N/mm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
