摘要 <p>The learning accuracy for the injection quantity is guaranteed without depending on variation in the cetane value. Initial setting process is performed by ECU (100) at the time of factory shipment of an engine (200). The initial setting process judges whether or not the initial cetane value equivalent to the cetane value of the initial filling fuel filled up in the engine (200) for the first time is obtained as a correct value through, for example, manual entry operation, automatic input processing operation or the like. When the initial cetane value has never been obtained, the process is controlled to be put in a standby state temporarily. When the initial cetane value has been already obtained, a process for learning minutely small injection quantity is performed. In the process for learning minutely small injection quantity, the correction quantity is calculated to match the required injection quantity to the actual injection quantity in accordance with the correct initial cetane value that is previously obtained, variation in revolution speed of the engine (200) depending on minutely small quantity of fuel injection and the like.</p>
