Disclosed is a dental composition containing a polymerizable monomer (A), an amorphous filler (B) which contains silica fine particles and an oxide covering the surfaces of the silica fine particles and containing a zirconium atom, a silicon atom and an oxygen atom, and has an average particle diameter of 1-20 µm, and inorganic particles (C) having an average particle diameter of 0.1-1.0 µm.  It is preferable that 50-400 parts by weight of the filler (B) and 100-400 parts by weight of the inorganic particles (C) are contained per 100 parts by weight of the polymerizable monomer (A).
