<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enebles efficient separation of Sr and Rb by a simple operation utilizing a very ordinary reagent without requiring a harmful compound having a complicated structure and a special expensive resin. <P>SOLUTION: A water soluble salt expressed by general formula (1) B<SB>2</SB>Y (wherein, B denotes a cation selected from NH<SB>4</SB><SP>+</SP>, Na<SP>+</SP>, Li<SP>+</SP>and K<SP>+</SP>; and Y denotes an anion selected from WO<SB>4</SB><SP>2-</SP>and MoO<SB>4</SB><SP>2-</SP>) is added to a sample solution containing Rb<SP>+</SP>and Sr<SP>2+</SP>and further containing at least one metal ion selected from Ca<SP>2+</SP>and Ba<SP>2+</SP>so as to produce hardly soluble precipitates AY. The Sr<SP>2+</SP>is co-precipitated into the precipitates AY, thus the same is collected, and the Rb<SP>+</SP>is made to remain into a supernatant liquid so as to separate the Rb<SP>+</SP>and Sr<SP>2+</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
