<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method and a connection device 1 of a solar battery element by which adhesiveness of the solar battery element and tab lead wire is enhanced and neither curvature nor crack is generated in the solar battery element S by correcting a winding habit of the tab lead wire T without hardening copper foil. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the connection method and the connection device 1 of the solar battery element which connect a plurality of solar battery elements S by soldering the tab lead wire T on the front surface or the rear surface of the solar battery element S, the tab lead wire T is held at one front of the solar battery element S, and pulled to the rear side of the tab lead wire T by a backward tension imparting means 3 provided in the behind the solar battery element, its tractive force is large enough to elastically and approximately linearly deform the tab lead wire T and smaller than an elastic limit of the tab lead wire.
