TILE COMPRISING VOLCANIC ROCKS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A volcanic rock tile and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the waste of necessary resource to manufacture different synthetic material and reduce manufacturing cost by recycling waste resources in tile manufacture. CONSTITUTION: A volcanic rock tile comprises a tile foundation and a glaze layer. The tile foundation includes clay. The tile foundation is firstly plasticized to have a specific form. The glaze layer is secondly plasticized on the surface of the tile foundation. The glaze layer comprises volcanic rock having a particle size of 10~75 microns. A volcanic rock manufacturing method comprises followings. The tile foundation which is firstly plasticized is prepared(S40). The volcanic rock is crushed at 10 ~ 75 micron particle size. The glaze layer is made by mixing pulverized volcanic rock and other materials. The glaze layer is formed on the tile foundation and is secondly plasticized at higher temperature than the temperature in the first plasticizing process(S50,S70).
