<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system startup method and a fuel cell system which can efficiently eject a cathode gas or the like accumulated on an anode electrode side at a startup time of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The startup method comprises steps of: detecting a startup signal of a fuel cell; opening a shutoff valve 25; closing the shutoff valve in accordance with the pressure state of an anode gas within an anode gas circulative path 40 to perform anode gas supply interruption control while opening a purge valve 28 to eject gas in the anode gas circulative path to an anode gas distribution path 37; closing the purge valve after leaving the purge valve in a valve-open state for a predetermined period of time; opening the shutoff valve after closing the purge valve; and permitting starting power generation in the case that a cell voltage of the fuel cell is no lower than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
