PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing and transferring signals representing writing in an electronic portable wireless pen.

SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of providing the pen with a communication subsystem; a step of providing a cellular phone having a communication subsystem for communicating with the communication subsystem of the pen; and a step of transmitting a signal showing the position of the tip of the pen to the cellular phone from the pen.
