The invention relates to a method for producing a plain bearing, according to which a metal bearing layer consisting of a white metal alloy that contains antimony and copper as the primary alloy elements is applied to a metal bearing shell. The aim of the invention is to obtain advantageous strength characteristics whilst retaining good tribological characteristics. To achieve this, the white metal alloy is cast and then solidified at a cooling rate of at least 100 K/s, before the metal bearing layer that is formed from the solidified white metal alloy is applied to the bearing shell and connected thereto. |
