FUEL PRESSURE DETECTION DEVICE, FUEL PRESSURE DETECTION SYSTEM AND FUEL INJECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pressure detection device and a fuel pressure detection system suppressing increase in the size of a passage member and simplifying a structure when detecting pressure of fuel passing through a high-pressure fuel passage formed on the passage member.

SOLUTION: The fuel pressure detection device and system are used for a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine for supplying fuel from a common rail (pressure accumulator) to an injector (fuel injection valve) via high-pressure piping to inject the fuel from a nozzle hole formed on the injector. A thin-walled section 70bz is formed by locally reducing the wall thickness of the passage member (such as an injector body 4z, the high-pressure piping and a connector 70z for interconnecting the high-pressure piping and the injector) forming the high-pressure fuel passage leading from the outlet section of the common rail to the nozzle hole. A strain gage 60z (strain detection sensor) is attached to the thin-walled section 70bz. The strain gage 60z detects strain induced in the thin-walled section 70bz by the fuel pressure within the high-pressure fuel passage 70az.
