<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain formed goods having very high dimensional accuracy without generating three-dimensional defective shape such as warp (face warp) in a ridge line by reducing springback which is generated in the press forming of a plate-like member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When working the plate-like member by press forming, whether deformation caused by defective shape fixability of the plate-like member is present or not is determined on the basis of the shape information of the plate-like member after press forming. When it is determined that the deformation is generated on the plate-like member, a first step for specifying the generating position and the deforming form of the deformation and a second step for controlling the history of intra-plane deformation of the plate-like member so as to level the distribution of residual stress in the generating position are performed.
