PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an inner pot is not easily heated uniformly (rice cooking irregularities tend to occur) when the positions of a heating element on the inner pot side and a work coil on the rice cooker body side are shifted, in an electric rice cooker for performing the electromagnetic induction heating of the inner pot using an earthen pot (varied in imension, shape, or the like). SOLUTION: In the electric rice cooker provided with a bottom part heating element 35 which generates heat by electromagnetic induction on the bottom part of the inner pot 3 made of a non-metallic material and provided with a bottom part work coil 41 for performing the electromagnetic induction heating of the bottom part heating element 35 inside the rice cooker body 1, the bottom part heating element 35 is provided with a part where the amount of a heating material is different on a prescribed position in the width direction, and the width of the bottom part work coil 41 is made wider than the width of the bottom part heating element 35 at a position corresponding to the bottom part heating element 35. Thus, in the electric rice cooker using the bottom part heating element 35 provided with the part where the amount of the heating material is different in the width direction, even when the position of the bottom part heating element 35 is shifted relative to the bottom part work coil 41, the inner pot is uniformly heated.
