<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information more accurately in a desired time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This information providing system is provided with: a data collection system for collecting and storing prescribed data; and a user terminal for receiving the provision of collection data collected by the data collection system. Then, the user terminal is provided with: a data processing means for acquiring the collection data from the data collection system, and for performing prescribed processing on the collection data; and a data processing start means for calculating data processing performance based on data processing circumstance data showing the circumstances of the past data processing executed by the data processing means, and for calculating the prediction time of the following data processing based on the calculated data processing performance, and for starting the data processing means based on the prediction time.
