<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building structure for improving comfortableness and working efficiency on an intermediate floor section and of suppressing the effect thereof on an adjacent building. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This building structure includes a living space Ka which is formed between a floor surface panel (floor surface) 16 and a ceiling surface panel (ceiling surface) 17 and which is positioned on an uppermost story having an upper surface covered by a rood material (roof surface) 18, an intermediate stairway (lifting means) 20 installed on the floor surface panel 16, and an intermediate floor section (intermediate floor section) 21 connected to the upper section of the intermediate stairway 20. The ceiling surface panel 17 of the living space Ka and the roof material 18 are higher than the intermediate floor section 21. The ceiling surface panel (ceiling surface for intermediate floor section) 23 positioned above the intermediate floor section 21 is higher than the ceiling surface panel 17 of the living space Ka.
