PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical formulation containing simvastatin and losratan is provided to release two components at a different time and enhance drug effect without side effect. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical formulation comprises an immediate release compartment containing a simvastatin as a pharmacologically active ingredient, its isomer or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, and a sustained release compartment containing losartan or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The sustained release compartment contains a release control material of enteric polymer, water insoluble polymer compound or hydrophilic polymer.
