PURPOSE: A mounting bracket structure for a front-gear and front-wheel drive engine is provided to bear the weight and vibration of the engine effectively by securing a wide joint area among a timing gear case cover, a cylinder block, and an engine mounting bracket and a wide contact area between a mounting upper bracket and the engine mounting bracket. CONSTITUTION: A mounting bracket structure for a front-gear and front-wheel drive engine comprises an engine mounting bracket body(100) with bolt holes(110) which are coupled to a timing gear bolt hole, a case bolt hole, and a cylinder block bolt hole; a tensioner mounting bolt hole(120) in which a tensioner for driving auxiliary-machinery is installed; a dowel pin groove formed on back of the engine mounting bracket body in which a dowel pin for mounting a timing case cover is inserted; and a plurality of bolt holes(140) for a mounting bracket upper which penetrates from a top surface(150) of the engine mounting bracket body to the bottom.
