PURPOSE: A broadcast viewing limiting system using a mobile communication terminal, a control method thereof and a broadcasting signal receiver used for the system are provided to enable parents to confirm a television broadcasting program viewed by their children and remotely control the locking/unlocking of a TV. CONSTITUTION: A broadcast viewing limiting system using a mobile communication terminal(200) and a broadcasting signal receiver(100). The mobile communication terminal receives and displays broadcast viewing monitoring information from the broadcasting signal receiver. The broadcast viewing monitoring information includes viewing start information and viewing channel information. The broadcasting signal receiver generating the viewing start information in case the watching TV of a user is detected and generates the broadcast viewing monitoring information in which the viewing start information and viewing channel information. The broadcasting signal receiver transmits the generated broadcast viewing monitoring information to the mobile communication terminal. |
