PURPOSE: An outlet for blocking stand-by power is provided to make the connection with an existing electronic device easily and reduce the manufacturing cost by reducing the mounted volume of the electronic device. CONSTITUTION: An outlet for blocking stand-by power is connected between an electronic device and a main power source socket. The outlet comprise an outlet body(60). The outlet body consists of a main power supply unit(10), an electronic device connection part(20), a main power blocking unit(30), a current sensor unit(40) and a controller(50). The main power supply unit has a main power plug(11) connected to the main power source socket. The electronic device connection part supplies the main power provided from the main power supply unit to the electronic device. The main power blocking unit controls the supply of main power to the electronic device connection part. The current sensor unit measures the intensity of a current flowing to the electronic device. The controller controls the operation of the main power blocking unit by sensing the change of current measured in the current sensor unit.
