<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a recording medium more efficiently than when a simple air flow is used. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device U is provided with: a fixing device F for heat-fixing an unfixed visible image held on a medium S surface, stacking containers TRh1, TRh2 arranged downstream of the fixing device F in a medium conveying-direction, and stacking discharged medium S on which the visible image is fixed; and eddy current generators 1, 2, 3, 4 arranged in an upper part of the stacking containers TRh1, TRh2, to generate an eddy current 11 flowing along the medium surface conveyed into the stacking containers TRh1, TRh2, to cool the medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
