<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly perform spot welding of an insert material and aluminum or aluminum alloy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The insert casting method for casting the insert material while encapsulating the insert material by the aluminum or the aluminum alloy comprises: (1) preparing the insert material made of iron; (2) in a mirror finishing step, finishing the welded surface of the insert material with the aluminum or the aluminum alloy to a mirror surface; (3) in a heating step, heating the surface of the insert material to a high temperature of 200 to 300°C; (4) in a setting step, setting the insert material into a die while maintaining the insert material at the high temperature; (5) in a pouring step, reducing the pressure within the die, thence injecting the molten metal of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy; (6) waiting for completion of the casting; and (7) parting the casting.
