<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which is capable of suppressing the reduction in the conveyance efficiency of developer caused by the splashing of the developer in a developer supply chamber 24 and a developer recovery chamber 25 and to provide a process cartridge provided with the developing device and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the developing device, a partition member 28 comprising a plate-like elastic body is attached to a partition wall 24a above the developer supply chamber 24 over almost the entire length in the axial direction of a first stirring/conveying screw 27A. As a result, the developer T splashed upward from the root part 27Ab1 of the spiral blade 27Ab of the first stirring/conveying screw 27A, according to the rotation of the first stirring/conveying screw 27A collides with the partition member 28, to be bounced and returned to the developer supply chamber 24 again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
