<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank of low-temperature fluid having a plurality of layers of heat insulating members interposed in a space between an inner periphery of the outer layer and an outer periphery of the inner layer and capable of enhancing an heat insulating effect by avoiding mutual adhesion of the thin heat insulating members and increasing the number of the layers. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The storage tank of the low-temperature fluid has the inner layer formed of a cylindrical body, in which the low-temperature fluid is received, and provided inside the outer layer element formed of a cylindrical body, and the plural layers of the heat insulating members interposed in the space between the inner periphery of the outer layer element and the outer periphery of the inner layer, wherein the plural layers of the heat insulating members are divided into a plurality of sets of heat insulators in a thickness direction of the space and gaps are formed between the respective heat insulators with all or a part of the respective heat insulators suspended from the outer layer element with fishing lines.
