<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting clutch enhanced in reliability by effectively eliminating heat of a wet multi-plate clutch. <P>SOLUTION: The starting clutch is arranged between a transmission and an engine, and is equipped with a wet multi-plate clutch to transmit drive force. The wet multi-plate clutch includes a plurality of friction engagement elements housed in an axially freely slidable manner, a clutch drum for housing the friction engagement elements, and a clutch hub arranged on an internal diameter side of the clutch drum, and a piston for applying pressing force to the friction engagement elements for the purpose of connecting the wet multi-plate clutch. The starting clutch houses the wet multi-plate clutch and is equipped with a housing driven by the engine. With oil filled inside the starting clutch, the oil fed to an inside of the housing flows along an outer portion of the clutch drum, and discharged from inside the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
