<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a press-fitting method of a pile by which a reactive force can always be obtained and stable construction can be conducted with a small penetration load. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Each of pile members comprises a longitudinal linear projection 11 which can be held by a chuck of a pile driver, a flange part 12 continuously arranged on both sides of the linear projection 11, and joint parts 13 arranged on the edge parts of the flange part 12. The pile members are joined together by the joint parts to make a composite pile with a closed cross section.
