<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of supplying saturated steam and superheated steam corresponding to cooked foods. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this heating cooker, a process for heating a cooked object 51 in a heating chamber 28, is composed of a preheating process for heating the heating chamber 28 before putting the cooked object 51 in the heating chamber 28, a humidifying process for putting the cooked object 51 in the heating chamber 28 and heating the heating chamber 28 to a temperature of 140-180°C, and a baking process for ON/OFF controlling the supply of electric power to a fan forced heater 14, heating the saturated stream jetted from a steam generating means 4 by the fan forced heater 14, and supplying the superheated steam to the heating chamber 28 in an ON time of the fan forced heater 14, and supplying the saturated steam from the steam generating means 43 to the heating chamber 28 in an OFF time of the fan forced heater 14, and these heating processes are controlled by a control means 72 on the basis of temperature information from a temperature detecting means 85 detecting a temperature of the heating chamber 28.
