PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fabricating a color conversion layer, which is free of a leakage to an adjacent sub-pixel and has a uniform film thickness, inexpensively and highly precisely by using an inkjet method. SOLUTION: The method is provided for manufacturing the color conversion filter having a bank layer 19. The bank layer 19 is formed of a double-layer structure of a first bank layer 19a in contact with a flattening layer 18 and a second bank layer 19b in contact with the first bank layer such that while the second bank layer 19b is larger in width than the first bank layer 19a, the first bank layer 19a is lyophilic with respect to ink for color conversion layer formation and the second bank layer 19b is repellent with respect with the ink.
