PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition being excellent in transparency and antistatic property. SOLUTION: In the transparent antistatic resin composition, 75-91.5 wt.% of a transparent styrene based thermoplastic resin (A), 8-20 wt.% of a polymaide based hydrophilic polymer (B), and 0.5-5 wt.% of an ionic liquid (C) are formulated so as to become 100 wt.%. In the transparent antistatic resin composition, haze when it is made to the molded article (thickness of 3 mm) is 15.0 or less and a surface resistance value is 1.0×10<SP>9</SP>Ω/square or less.
