<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long shoehorn with a hem lifter, enabling a user to keep standing and slip a foot into a shoe as the shoehorn is inserted along a gentle crank form for putting the shoe on, when the hem of trousers is lifted by friction with an oval gentle projection, so that it is not caught between the shoe and the foot. Ž<P>SOLUTION: On a lower part of the shoehorn 1, the gentle crank form 2 is molded, and an oval gentle projection 3 is molded on a middle upper part thereof. An elasto-viscous sheet 4 is applied over them to make the hem lifter. Otherwise, the oval gentle projection 3 is formed of sponge or rubber, the elasto-viscous sheet 4 is applied on it, and adhesive agent is applied on the back surface to provide the attachment.
