<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power generation efficiency of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 10 includes a plurality of stacked power generation units 200, 202, and a fastening part 250 whose load for fastening the plurality of stacked power generation units is variable. The power generating unit includes a membrane electrode assembly 300, separators 410, 420 arranged on both sides of the membrane electrode assembly, and adhesive layers 500, 502 to adhere the membrane electrode assembly with the separators. The first adhesive layer 502 present on the end portion of the stacking direction of the fuel cell and the second adhesive layer 500 present on the center portion in the stacking direction of the fuel cell are formed such that the strain of the first adhesive layer 502 is larger than the strain of the second adhesive layer 500 when an equal force is applied to the each adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
