<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene analysis method by which a gene can be analyzed without being limited by the length and arrangement of a sample DNA. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The gene analysis method includes mixing a first sample DNA modified with a labeling agent with a conjugate DNA obtained by binding a substance used as a weight to a probe DNA having a sequence complementary to the specific sequence of the first sample DNA, heating the obtained mixture solution at a prescribed value, binding the first sample DNA with the conjugate DNA in a step of returning to a room temperature to form a complex, and separating the obtained complex from the DNAs not forming the complex on the difference of molecular weights by an electrophoresis method.
