PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacking device capable of neatly stacking objects having a rectangular section to be stacked. SOLUTION: The stacking device 1 conveys a plurality of objects P of a rectangular section having the predetermined length to be stacked in the stacking direction B orthogonal to the longitudinal direction and stacks the objects P to be stacked. A laterally collapsing member 71 is provided above in a conveying passage in the stacking direction B, and the space in the vertical direction from a conveying face to a lower end of the laterally collapsing member 71 is set to be smaller than the length of the long ridge and larger than the length of the short ridge of the objects P of the rectangular section to be stacked.
