<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module in which a shield having a lens holder therein can be fixed with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The camera module comprises: an insulating substrate 12 having an imaging device 11 on a front face thereof and a plurality of solder balls 21-2 on a rear face thereof; a cylindrical lens holder 16 securely fixed on the substrate 12, composed of an upper large-diameter portion 16-1 and a lower small-diameter portion 16-2 and having a lens 13 therein; a bottomed cylindrical shield 12 fitted onto the small-diameter portion 16-2 of the lens holder and composed of a cylindrical side portion 19-2 fixed on the large-diameter portion 16-1 of the lens holder and a plate-shaped bottom portion 19-1 being in contact with a lower face of the insulating substrate 12 and having an opening 18 for conduction; and a mounting board 20 connected with the insulating substrate 12 through the plurality of solder balls 21-2 formed on the lower face of the insulating substrate 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
