[Class 20 (iv).] Reinforcing fabrics for concrete road foundations and like structures consist of longitudinal and transverse wires or rods welded together, some or all of the wires being twisted and of non-rectangular and non-circular section. Some of the wires may be of one section and some of another. Figs. 1, 2, 4 and 5 show examples. In Fig. 1, all the rods are twisted and of triangular section. In Fig. 2, one set are plain untwisted round rods, and the other set are twisted hexagonal rods. In Fig. 4, both sets are shown as twisted hexagonal rods, but one set may be untwisted. In Fig. 5, twisted triangular rods are welded to oval rods which may be twisted or untwisted. |
