<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor assembling apparatus and method which easily assembles a motor having a housing with one end closed and only the other end opened even if a magnetic force acts between a rotor and a stator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor 1 is assembled using the motor assembling apparatus 100 which is equipped with: a rotationally driving section 120 for rotating a rotating shaft 10 with one end pivoted to a housing 40 and the rotor 20 fixed thereto by inputting a rotationally driving force to one end of the rotating shaft 10; and a cap fixing section 130 which fixes a cap 50 to the housing 40, with the rotating shaft 10 being rotated by the rotationally driving section 120, and pivots the other end of the rotating shaft 10 to the cap 50.
