<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug and tap having a function to give warning of fall from an electrical outlet to a user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plug includes a plurality of plug terminals 12a, 12b to be inserted in an outlet for electric power supply, a body 10 having a surface from which the plug terminals 12a, 12b protrude, a light emitting element 20 to output warning, and a switch 22 provided so as an operation part to protrude from a surface of the body 10 and switching a switching state in accordance with a distance between a terminal surface 10C and a surface of a plug of the outlet to control light emission of the light emitting element 20.
