<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform remote automatic photography setting of a network camera system with visual confirmation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a photographic area display method for a remote automatic photographing apparatus, that performs remote automatic photography in designated timing while presetting photographic conditions, including: a holding step of holding automatic photography setting information of the remote automatic photographing apparatus; a display step of displaying video images of all photography-enabled areas of the remote automatic photographing apparatus; a creation step of creating area information of an automatic photographic area to be photographed during automatic photography on the basis of the automatic photography setting information; and an area display step of displaying the automatic photographic area in the photography-enabled area.
