PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing control device allowing improvement of conversion responsiveness to an advanced angle side, in particular, of a relative rotational phase by a phase changing mechanism. SOLUTION: This valve timing control device is provided with a link member 8 oscillatably supported by a diameter expanding part 4b to oscillate via an engagement pin 11 engaged and guided to a spiral groove 15 of a spiral disk and the phase changing mechanism for changing the relative rotational phases of a timing sprocket 2 and a cam shaft by moving the engagement pin 11 in the radial direction via the spiral groove 15 according to a rotation position of the spiral disk. The link member 8 integrally has an added weight part 25 of a sickled shape at an outer end of a base end part 8a of a link body 8a. An axial center P position of a pin 9 to be an oscillation fulcrum of the link member 8 is normally formed to be a center of gravity G position of the whole of the link member 8 by the added weight part 25 to avoid influence of moving speed to the inside of the engagement pin 11 by centrifugal force.
