PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of discharging a recorded sheet with the recording face of the discharged sheet facing downward with a simple constitution without blocking the space-saving of an image forming device body in a height direction. SOLUTION: This image forming device 1 comprises a main conveying path 6 for turning a sheet 9 fed from a sheet accommodation part 20, introducing it to an image recording part 3, and recording an image onto an upper face 92 of the sheet at the image recording part. A switch gate 5 for switching to a discharging side connected to a discharge part 4 discharging the recorded sheet 90 and a reverse side is installed to the main conveying path on a downstream side of the image recording part, and a reverse conveying path 7 positioned between the sheet accommodation part and the image recording part and having a pair of conveying rollers 71, 72 normally and reversely rotatable is communicated to the reverse side of the switch gate.
