PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer permitting extremely easy and swift cleaning of a flow passage for guiding air and water droplets blown into a drying chamber of a case cover, and capable of retaining the apparatus and air to be blown clean. SOLUTION: The hand dryer 10 has the drying chamber 13 recessed in the case cover 11 as a shell into which a hand is inserted, and an apparatus body 10a incorporated inside the case cover 11. The apparatus body includes at least a blower 30 for feeding air into the drying chamber 13 to be blown and a circulation flow air/water guide passage 20 for guiding the air blown into the drying chamber 13. A front door 12 of the case cover 11 is openably/closably formed, and the circulation flow air/water guide passage 20 is disposed in such a state that the interior in a prescribed section of the passage is closed by the front door 12 of the case cover 11 and is exposed to outside when the front door 12 is opened.
