This invention relates to a web-browsing system that enables a user to surf the web efficiently. The web-browsing system which can be installed in a client's terminal comprises: a web-browser (11); a function window controller (121) that includes a function window manager (1211) consisting of a contents-information DB (1211c), a layer creator (1211d) and a menu controller (1211a); and a window module (12) that has a web-browser link unit (122). The contents-information DB (1211c) stores at least one kind of contents among text, image, video or sound source and the contents information linked to the correspondent contents. The layer creator (1211d) drives a layered function window (b) coded in HTML to include a webpage window that is coded in HTML and outputs a webpage (WP) and to check the positions and sizes of the menu and address windows in an existing window (a) outputted through the web-browser (11). A functional page (UP) that displays contents information is outputted through the layered function window (b). In addition, the layered function window (b) is driven by the layer creator so that at least one window selected from the menu or address window in the one-output window format (c) is hidden behind the output window. The menu controller (1211a) controls the link with the web-browser (11) to enable Internet communication based on the contents information indicated in the layered function window (b). The web-browser link unit (122) links the function window controller (121) to the web-browser (11) to enable the access to the Internet based on the contents information. |
