摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of simultaneously efficiently reducing NOx, by efficiently and surely removing HC and CO generated by the application of premixed compression ignition. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device of a diesel engine 1 is provided for performing ignition combustion in a combustion chamber after promoting premixing of fuel, by performing fuel injection in the timing earlier than the compression top dead center in at least a light load. A pre-oxidation catalyst 12 is arranged in an upstream part of an exhaust pipe 11 of the diesel engine 1 for preferentially performing oxidation processing on the CO to the HC. A selective reduction type catalyst 13 having the catalyst function and NOx adsorbing capacity for selectively reacting NOx with the HC even in the coexistence of oxygen, is arranged on the downstream side of the pre-oxidation catalyst 12. A fuel adding valve 16 (a fuel adding means) for adding fuel in exhaust gas 9, is arranged between the selective reduction type catalyst 13 and the pre-oxidation catalyst 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
