<p>The device for reading 4 interferometric sensors of the invention comprises a main fibre (8) on which are arranged couplers (C1-Cn) each linked to a secondary compensation fibre (F1-Fn) followed by a polariser (P1-Pn) and by a detector (D1-Dn), thus constituting n elementary polarimeters. The couplers (C1) to (Cn) are monomode couplers conserving the polarisation of the incident waves. Each of these couplers extracts a portion of the energy arriving at the fibre (8), and couples it into a secondary optical fibre (F1) to (Fn) respectively. These secondary fibres are likewise monomode, bi-refringent and polarisation retaining, their respective lengths being (I1) to (In). A polariser device, respectively (P1) to (Pn), and a detector, respectively (D1) to (Dn), are connected to the end of each secondary fibre (F1) to (Fn). These n detectors may be separate or belong to a same linear array of detectors. A detector (Dr) which can provide a reference value used in the manner explained below is connected to the end of the fibre (8). All the detectors (D1) to (Dn) and (Dr) are linked to a central processing device (9) which ensures the functions of rapid sequential addressing of the detectors and of forward-counting/backward-counting of the interference fringes.
