PURPOSE: A decoding method of an image including a recording media and a device thereof are provided to reduce the delay time of a decoding operation and include the recording media. CONSTITUTION: A decoding method of an image including a recording media is as follows. A quantization result of an error image of motion compensation information and between a present image and a reference image is produced. The reference frame is received from the external memory(810). The quantization result is de-quantized. The previous image is restored in a frequency domain(820). The motion compensation is performed about the present image. The restored residual image and the motion compensation result are added.
