<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and method, preventing leakage of information displayed on a display screen to a third party even if the third party enters a conference room or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An access monitoring part 21 acquires specific information for specifying a person entering the room, e.g. an employee code, and sends the acquired employee code to a conference monitoring part 14. The conference monitoring part 14 decides whether the employee code received from the access monitoring part 21 is an employee code registered in conference room reservation information stored by a conference reservation part 11. When the received employee code is not registered in the conference room reservation information, the conference monitoring part decides that the third party enters the conference room, and instructs a display monitoring part 33 to make the information displayed on a display part 30 in a non-display state. When the display monitoring part 33 instructs a display control part 34 about that effect, the display control part 34 makes information displayed on a restriction determination area out of the display screen of the display part 31 invisible for the third party entering the room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
