<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component having stable electric characteristics. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coil component 1 includes: a core part 7c having a conducting wire lead-in part 7e through which a conducting wire is introduced; a coil formed by the conducting wire wound around the core part 7c in multilayers; and a case member 2 formed with a magnetic material and covering around the coil. In the core part 7c, a flat surface part 7c is formed along the central shaft of the core part 7c at the position where the upper and lower layer conducting wires cross.
