<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane light emitting device in which a high uniformity ratio of illumination is realized without using a special part-shading member and a color unevenness is prevented from occurring even when a plurality of single color light emitting devices are used. <P>SOLUTION: The plane light emitting device 1 includes a light guide plate 3 of a plate shape, a total reflection portion 7 which is arranged on the one end portion of the light guide plate and reflects incident light from the one main surface of the light guide plate toward the other end portion of the light guide plate so that the light is conveyed inside the light guide plate while making a total reflection, a light emitting device 2 which makes an incident light toward the total reflection portion from the one main surface of the light guide plate, and a reflection portion 8 which is arranged on the one or the other main surface of the light guide plate and reflects the light, which is conveyed in the light guide plate while making a total reflection, toward the opposite side of the main surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
