PURPOSE: A Chinese character explanation method and a teaching material are provided to increase comprehension of related Chinese character by adding a figure symbol to three base characters. CONSTITUTION: In a Chinese character explanation method and a teaching material, a plurality of Chinese characters having mutual figure transformation relation are arranged consecutively. A sequence transformation between Chinese characters is displayed through four specific symbols, and a change process of the Chinese character is expressed through a display process. The transformation symbol between the Chinese characters is made of at least one symbol.
