<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of efficiently and surely preventing a housing from moving to the outside of tolerance with inputted rotational driving force, and a photoreceptor cartridge and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developing side housing 29 is prevented from moving to the outside of the tolerance by the rotational driving force supplied from a coupling member by the abutting of a sheet metal extension part 505 on a sheet metal abutting part 511 or the abutting of a lower frame extension part 507 on a lower frame abutting part 509.
