<p>So as to accommodate front teeth (1,2), a corner/canine tooth (3), small back teeth/molars (4,5) and large back teeth/molars (6-8), a gum-shield consists of four laminate layers, the first (1.Laminat) and third (3.Laminat) of which consist of pure polyurethane and completely enclose a second laminate layer (2.Laminat), which consists of a polyurethane (PU) plate either completely made from carbon-fiber stuff or produced from a PU plate with carbon-fiber filaments. The whole gum-shield is enclosed on the outer side with a fourth laminate layer (4.Laminat). An independent claim is also included for a production method for adapting a gum-shield.</p> |
